Chiefs vs. Jets Player Props for SNF

Patrick Mahomes o15.5 Rushing Yards (-125), PointsBet

Through the first three weeks of the season, Patrick Mahomes is yet to have a game with fewer than 28 rushing yards. He has played from behind against the Detroit Lions, in a low-scoring affair against the Jacksonville Jaguars, and in a blowout against the Chicago Bears. Regardless of game script, Mahomes has found at least a few opportunities to make plays with his legs in 2023. Facing a New York Jets defense that plays a healthy amount of man coverage, do not be surprised if Mahomes takes off and has a couple of big gains on the ground on Sunday Night Football.

Zach Wilson u173.5 Passing Yards (-115), BetRivers

Despite head coach Robert Saleh’s repeated comments in support of Zach Wilson, there is little evidence to suggest that he is anything other than the worst starting quarterback in the NFL. Wilson enters play in Week 4 ranked 34th out of 34 qualified signal callers in EPA / play and 33rd in success rate. His 7.0 air yards ranks 25th. Since Chris Jones has returned to the Kansas City Chiefs defense, the Chiefs have posted back-to-back top-six pressure rates among all NFL teams in Week 2 and Week 3. Wilson has averaged only 3.7 yards per attempt when under pressure this year, making it difficult to see how he manages to find any amount of success in this matchup.

NFL DFS Pick’em

Travis Kelce Less Than 73.5 Receiving Yards, PrizePicks

Travis Kelce looked healthier in Week 3 than he did in Week 2, but this is still a high market number for a player who is likely at less than 100 percent health and in a tough matchup against the New York Jets defense. Kelce has yet to play more than 47 offensive snaps in a game this fall, and has been used as a run blocker on 29 of his 90 snaps for the season. Simply, this is high number, and Kelce likely gets less than 73.5 receiving yards in this spot more often than not.
