Jets vs. Vikings – NFL Player Props
- Aaron Rodgers Over/Under 222.5 Passing Yards
- Breece Hall Over/Under 49.5 Rushing Yards
- Jalen Nailor Over/Under 12.5 Receiving Yards
Aaron Rodgers OVER 222.5 Passing Yards (-113, FanDuel)
Aaron Rodgers and company only scored 9 points in their Week 4 loss to the Broncos, but Rodgers still had 225 passing yards in that game. The Vikings have already allowed 319 passing yards to Brock Purdy, 258 passing yards to the Texans, and 389 passing yards to Jordan Love this season. Minnesota plays an aggressive style of defense that makes them vulnerable to quarterbacks who can accurately and decisively get rid of the football before the blitz gets home. Rodgers is a potential nightmare matchup for Minnesota, making this a very playable number.
Breece Hall UNDER 49.5 Rushing Yards (-115, Bally)
Breece Hall was a consensus 1st-round pick in most fantasy football drafts in 2024, but team owners may be forced to face the reality that he’s simply not going to live up to the hype. Hall had only 4 rushing yards on 10 attempts in Week 4 against Denver and has been thoroughly out-played by Braelon Allen during the first month of the campaign. Minnesota’s defense ranks 7th in success rate and 5th in EPA/play against the run this year. This is another tough matchup for Hall, who is at risk of another disappointing showing on the ground.
Jalen Nailor OVER 12.5 Receiving Yards (-115, DraftKings)
The return of Jordan Addison to the field, predictably, cut into the number of looks that Jalen Nailor received in this Minnesota offense. That being said, Nailor still has at least 1 reception and at least 21 receiving yards in each game so far this fall. When Addison was on the sidelines, the Vikings’ coaching staff raved about Nailor and how sharp he had been. Even against a tough New York defense, there should be 1 or 2 opportunities for Nailor to get the job done at this low market number.
