We have an excellent slate of hockey on tap tonight, especially in the second half of the slate as the sizzling Nashville Predators will travel to Minnesota to take on Devan Dubnyk who has strung together three consecutive shutouts. An hour later, the puck will drop in Edmonton as the Oilers (7-9-2) will host the Western Conference-leading St. Louis Blues who are off to a flying start at 13-5-1. What will we see from Connor McDavid and an Oiler team looking to escape the basement?

Martin Jones, San Jose Sharks – If you require a little more salary on FanDuel, Charlie Lindgren is a worthwhile option in cash games as he takes on the disastrous Desert Dogs of Arizona who have a pathetic two wins in 20 attempts this season. Martin Jones is always a solid option in cash games, especially when playing at home ice as he never seems to have bad starts. On this young season, Jones is 8-4 with a 2.13 GAA and .925 SV%. Jones is backed by statistically the best defense in the National Hockey League as the San Jose Sharks are allowing just 2.25 goals per game. Florida figures to struggle throughout the season on the road, and although the Sharks tend to play down to their competition, Jones represents a safe option in cash games. Look for him to allow two goals or less and pick up the all-important victory.
