Kalshi Fully Launches Combos Feature for Parlay-Style Prediction Markets

Prediction market platform Kalshi has completed the full rollout of Combos, a feature that allows users to bundle multiple event outcomes into a single parlay-style contract. The launch represents a meaningful expansion of Kalshi’s sports offerings and highlights the growing convergence between prediction markets and traditional sports betting behavior.

Kalshi first introduced Combos as a beta feature in September 2025. At the time, access was limited to select NFL games and restricted to the mobile app. Roughly three months later, the company expanded Combos to all users, adding support for NFL and NBA markets.

Early Volume Points to Strong Adoption

According to Kalshi co-founder and CEO Tarek Mansour, Combos generated more than $100 million in trading volume during its first week following the full launch. The release coincided with a broader surge in platform activity, including a daily volume record of approximately $340 million and 50% app growth in November.

Mansour explained that the rapid adoption of Combos is largely driven by pricing efficiency. By bundling multiple outcomes into a single contract, traders can achieve better pricing than placing individual trades separately.

According to Mansour, in traditional financial markets, traders often combine multiple options rather than buying them individually to achieve better pricing. He explained that Combos work the same way, allowing users to improve pricing while trading in an open market where there is no house, and other traders take the opposite side of the contract.

Why Combos Matter to Sports Bettors

Although Kalshi does not operate as a sportsbook, Combos closely resemble parlays familiar to sports bettors. Instead of betting against a house, users trade contracts in an open market where prices are set by supply and demand.

This structure may appeal to bettors who regularly engage with SGPs and player prop combinations.

Potential Appeal for DFS Users

Combos may also resonate with DFS users, particularly those already focused on correlation and game environments. Concepts like stacking — pairing quarterback performance with team success — translate naturally into bundled outcome contracts.

That said, Combos are more likely to attract casual or hybrid DFS players who also participate in sportsbooks, rather than professional DFS grinders focused strictly on expected value.

A Broader Shift in Sports Prediction Markets

The full rollout of Combos comes as prediction markets continue to grow rapidly, with Kalshi positioning itself at the intersection of financial trading mechanics and sports-driven speculation. As features like Combos gain traction, the line between traditional sports betting and regulated outcome trading continues to narrow.
