KBO Pitching Primer - Tuesday, May 5th
The Pitching Primer is back! Well, at least temporarily, that is.
In this article, I will be looking at the 10 pitching options for the first KBO (Korea Baseball Organization) slate of the year. I want to be clear that in no way do I want to present myself as any sort of expert on this matter. The majority of what you will see here are the stats that I was able to find on each pitcher, and I will close it out with a brief summary of who I would want to be targeting in which formats. I am extremely early in the research process of this league, so it is likely that your own research lands on something different than me.
The pitchers will be listed in order of their pricing on DraftKings, starting with the most expensive. FanDuel, for whatever reason, only allows you to roster the “team” as the starting pitcher, but they also make it clear that you only get fantasy points for whoever starts.
I will also reference some stats from last year for the teams these guys are facing, but it goes without saying that it shouldn’t be weighed very heavily. There is obviously roster turnover each season for each team, but being able to accurately factor doesn’t seem realistic for me at this point in time.
So with all of that in mind, let’s talk some pitching!
