Lions vs. Cowboys NFL Player Props for Saturday, December 30th

Dak Prescott OVER 279.5 Passing Yards (-113), FanDuel

Dak Prescott has only eclipsed this market number in 5 of his 15 games this fall, but 4 of those times have come at home. On Saturday, Prescott gets another extremely favorable matchup against a Lions defense that ranks 24th in EPA/play and 23rd in success rate against the pass since safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson last played in Week 2. Detroit has continued to struggle defending the pass in recent weeks, ranking 26th in EPA/play and 21st in success rate across their last four contests. Prescott should be able to pick apart this Detroit secondary unit at will this evening, with 300 passing yards being an attainable accomplishment for him in this matchup.

David Montgomery OVER 52.5 Rushing Yards (-110), FanDuel

This season, David Montgomery has amassed at least 53 rushing yards in 11 of the 12 games he has played, and all 11 games in which he has received at least 10 carries. On Saturday, he gets an extremely favorable matchup against a Dallas defense that ranks 20th in rush EPA/play and 31st in rush success rate since linebacker Leighton Vander Esch last played in Week 5. Since Week 11, the Cowboys have allowed 50 rushing yards to Miles Sanders, 57 rushing yards to Chuba Hubbard, 53 rushing yards to Brian Robinson, 60 rushing yards to Zach Charbonnet, and 179 rushing yards to James Cook. Montgomery should be able to get the job done for us in this spot.

Jahmyr Gibbs OVER 50.5 Rushing Yards (-115), BetMGM

Entering play in Week 17, Jahmyr Gibbs has totaled at least 54 rushing yards in 5 consecutive games and 8 of his last 9 games overall. Gibbs has been featured more in the running game as the season has progressed, with at least 11 carries in 3 consecutive games and 4 of his last 5 games dating back to Thanksgiving. Facing a Dallas defense that has been among the worst in the league defending the run in recent weeks, there should be enough opportunities to go around for Gibbs to get his fair share of the team’s rushing yards tonight.
