Friday, August 17th
Happy Friday! We’ve got all kinds of pitching options tonight, starting up top with two aces in great matchups. It’s one of those slates where you can make a case for 15-20 different pitchers, but I am going to narrow it down as tight as possible for my player pool. The offense is less appealing overall, but we have a few teams up top in obvious spots that should garner the bulk of the ownership.
Note that there are a lot of weather concerns on the East Coast tonight, with seven games opening up with a Yellow Roth rating and could end up affecting the pitching choices. I’m writing this analysis as if all games play cleanly with no concern, but this is something to keep an eye on throughout the day. I will be on Crunch Time with Roth tonight at 6:30 ET so you can get the final verdict there.
