Tuesday, April 24th
We have an 11-game Main Slate on tap tonight with a solid group of decent pitchers and offense highlighted once again by Coors Field. FanDuel has an early-only slate for the first group of four games that start at 5:10 ET, so let’s take a quick glance at that slate.
FANDUEL EARLY SLATE OVERVIEW
The pitching is terrible for this slate, and it qualifies as a ‘hope you don’t lose it’ type of pitching night. The most talented pitcher on this slate by far is Minnesota’s Jose Berrios, but he is stuck with the worst matchup, heading into New York to face the Yankees. He has been so great this season, with 29 strikeouts and just one walk in 27 innings along with a crazy low 19% hard hit rate that I would still put him at the top of the list. The Yankees don’t hurt his strikeout upside, and his utter dominance against right-handed bats helps to offset the biggest threats in this Yankees lineup.
