Tuesday, July 3rd
Happy Tuesday from the Mile High City. Many thanks to STLCards for covering yesterday’s bases for me. I spent the night eating Dippin’ Dots at Coors Field for a pretty good game. The most exciting thing that happened was learning that Charlie Blackmon’s walk up song is ‘Your Love’ by the Outfield. (Josie’s on a vacation far away…). That really made me root for the Rockies to bat around some more. The Coors Field game is a lot more exciting for the bats tonight, but before we get there, let’s dig into a good, not great group of pitchers, with a couple of previous Cy Young Award Winners who are now just a couple of the guys.
I also just learned that I had not updated my Spell Checker on my laptop, at least since last year, and it did not recognize the word ‘jabroni’. Sometimes the very thing you don’t recognize is the very thing you are.
