Las Vegas
- OU 7
- Favored BAL -110
Pitchers
- Home Joe Saunders seems to be limited to about 90 pitches a game. He is giving up way to many hits and getting way to few Ks. BAL is batting .274 on the road, .265 versus left-handers, and .270 over the last 7 days. Saunders takes the hill as the underdog at home against a player who has open the season in the minor leagues. That should tell you all you need to know. Avoid
- Away Zach Britton makes the spot start today in a game with a low OU in which he is the favorite. He has had an unimpressive career but has had good success in the past vs. SEA. SEA is batting .246 at home, .210 versus left-handers, and .284 over the last 7 days.
Batters
- Home Kyle Seager has been hot producing 24.75 FP over the last 7 days. He is 1-3 vs. Britton with a HR. I am not ready to give up on Jesus Montero for the year. He killed left-handers last year and has 14.25 FP over the last 7 days.
- Away Nate McLouth has been the hottest hitter in baseball producing 43.5 FP. I do not like the lefty/lefty split today but I always like to ride a hot streak. Matt Wieters is 2-2 versus Saunders with a HR.

Las Vegas
- OU 7.5
- Favored LAD -155
Pitchers
- Home Ted Lilly first start looked good in the box score but he only threw 82 pitches and gave up 6 hits and 2 walks in only 5 IP for a 1.60 WHIP. The 7 Ks are nice but a little higher than you can expect from him especially if he is going to be limited to 80 or so pitches. He takes the hill as the huge favorite against a COL team batting .264 on the road, .276 vs. left-handers, and .268 over the last 7 days. He has had success versus them in the past with a .213 BAA but he needs to show me more before I believe he is back. I think COL gets to him today. Avoid
- Away Tyler Chatwood will probably pitch better on the road than he does at home this year. He draws an interesting matchup today in a pitcher friendly park against a LAD batting only .237 at home, .225 versus right-handers, and .227 over the last 7 days. He sports a decent K/9 and will be cheap. He could be a sneaky GPP plays as a second pitcher.
Batters
- Home Carl Crawford and Matt Kemp have each produced over 20 FP over the last 7 days. Adrian Gonzalez has been slumping but gains the splits in his favor. The BvPs are positive for Kemp and Gonzalez. If you think I am wrong about Chatwood and expect him to get hit hard then of course everyone is in play.
- Away Carlos Gonzalez is 8-20 versus Lilly with 5 HRs. The splits are not in his favor today and he has been real cold over the last 7 days but those kinds of numbers are hard to ignore. Dexter Fowler and Michael Cuddyer have been the hottest two Rockies.
