What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8
- Favored Team – STL -145
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home This is the lone day game so I will not be wasting much time on it. You can throw Jake Arrieta season statistics out the window. The NL Central is a much easier place to play then the AL East. He is going to be a sneaky value play at some point but not today against the league’s 3rd highest soring offense. RG Start-Ability 3
- Away Jake Westbrook versus the cubs is nice play on a multiple ptcher format. I think there are better plays to be had later in the evening, however. RG Start-Ability 6
Batter Grind Down
- Away The Cubs are like the Astros. If you stop paying attention to them for a couple of weeks then you have no idea who is even playing for them anymore. RG Stack Rating 3
- Home I expect Arrieta to pitch better than he has but STL is too tough. The usual suspects are all i play tody, Holliday, Carpenter, Beltran…..ect. RG Stack Rating 6

LAD vs L | LAD BvP | PHI vs R | PHI BvP |
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7.5
- Favored Team – LAD -120
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Cliff Lee has struggled a bit at home with a 4.09 ERA and .274 BAA. He has fallen apart since the All-Star break with a 5.82 ERA and .304 BAA. That plus the fact that he plays for the Phillies are enough for me to steer clear from him today. LAD is batting .275 on the road, .262 versus left-handers, and .318 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 6
- Away Zack Greinki has had problems on the road this year with a 4.35 ERA and .293 BAA. He has been dominant since the break, though, posting a 2.48 ERA. He draws a PHI team that has struggled to score runs all season and will be used by a great deal of the field today. PHI is batting .250 at home, .255 versus right-handers, and .229 over the last 7 days. *RG Start-Ability *
Batter Grind Down
- Home Greinke is allowing left-handers a .296 BAA. Domonic Brown, Cody Asche, and Chase Utley are your best bets. Domonic Brown has been hot over the last 7 days with 22 fp. RG Stack Rating 2
- Away Mark Ellis has been hot over the last 7 days with 26.25 fp. Yasiel Puig is batting .385 versus left-handers. Adrian Gonzalez has been hot over the last 7 days as well and is 10-18 with 1 HR versus Lee. RG Stack Rating 2

COL vs L | COL BvP | BAL vs R | BAL BvP |
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 9
- Favored Team – BAL -180
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Wei-Yen Chen has been fantastic at home this year with an ERA under 3. He gets the luxory of playing in front of one of the league’s 4th highest scoring offense. He is completely shut down left-handed batters holding them to a .209 BAA. The OU is high but it looks like Vegas expects most of the damage to fall on COL. COL is batting .246 on the road, .266 versus left-handers, and .316 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 6
- Away Juan Nicasio has actually been worse on the road then he has been at home. He sport a very hefty 6.03 and .303 BAA.Those are not the numbers you want to bring into BAL with their stout lineup. BAL is batting .258 at home, .272 versus right-handers, and .251 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 3
Batter Grind Down
- Home Nicasio is actually allowing right-handers to bat for a much higher BAA then he is left-handers. That puts everyone into play for me. Chris Davis at home versus a right-handers is always a nice play. He has been hot over the last 7 days with 28.25 fp. RG Stack Rating 9
- Away*Chen has been very hittable by right-handers, Nolan Arendo DJ LeMaheiu and Charlie Blackmon, are nice options. Dexter Fowler has been hot for COL. *RG Stack Rating 7

ARI vs R | ARI BvP | PIT vs R | PIT BvP |
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7.5
- Favored Team – PIT -145
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Gerrit Cole has shown flashes of great play but mainly he underperforms. He has been a worse pitcher at home with a 4.53 ERA. He seems to be a lock to only go 6 IP with 3 ER and 4 Ks. Those numbers do not excite me for daily fantasy even if he is a huge favorite today. ARI is batting .260 on the road, .256 versus right-handers, and .265 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 5
- Away Brandon McCarthy first 2 starts since returning from injury went well. IMf he can get back to pitching like he did the last couple of years then he will be worth a look. It is hard to trust him today versus this very good PIT team at home. PIT is batting .250 at home, .242 versus right-handers, and .260 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 5
Batter Grind Down
- Home Andrew McCutchen at home is always playable. Garret Jones is 3-4 versus McCarthy and has been productive lately. RG Stack Rating 4
- Away Cole is allowing left-handers to bat .282 versus him. Aaron Hill and Paul Goldschmidt have been super hot for ARI RG Stack Rating 4

KCR vs L | KCR BvP | DET vs R | DET BvP |
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8.5
- Favored Team – KAN -110
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home It seems like each start has gotten progressively worse for Jose Alvarez. He was considered a hot play a couple of weeks ago now he looks like a candidate to run a stack against. There is very little upside in using him today. Not only is he running bad but he is facing a KAN team that has recorded the fewest Ks on the year. In fact, they have 38 fewer than TEX who has recorded the 2nd fewest Ks. KAN is batting .256 at home, .259 versus left-handers, and .262 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 1
- Away Unless Superman quits his day Job at the Daily Planet and decides to dawn an NYY jersey then you should not take a pitcher playing on the road in DET. James Shields is good but he is not faster than a speeding bullet. DET is batting .299 at home, .285 versus right-handers, and .313 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 4
Batter Grind Down
- Home DET owns a .326 BAA versus Shields as a team. Everyone is worth a look but Miguel Cabrera ‘s 15-35 with 2 HR line is the most notable. RG Stack Rating 5
- Away Consider everyone playable from KAN. Hosmer and Gordon are both batting over .300 versus left-handers so do not shy away from them today. RG Stack Rating 6
