MLB DFS Lineup Advice Today
Tuesday night brings us a 10-game slate and two extra minutes to get our lineups in, with a 7:07 PM ET first pitch in Toronto. We could see the slate reduced to 9 games if the weather doesn’t hold up, so that will be something to keep our eye on.
We have some top offenses and high-strikeout pitchers on the mound, so we’ll have to make some difficult decisions on how to allocate our salary. Let’s sort through the slate and figure out what to do with our DFS lineups.
Top MLB DFS Picks for DraftKings & FanDuel
Top Stacks
Overall Stack: Atlanta Braves
Implied Run Total: 4.88 (4th)
Projected Total Ownership: 88% (FD) / 68% (DK)
Atlanta is facing Hunter Brown and the Astros today in Houston, and it’s a great spot for a team that can hit for power and run the bases against a pitcher who has allowed 19 hits and 14 ERs in 3.2 innings over his last 2 starts. With no Coors Field game on this slate, the stacks with the highest implied run totals could all see about the same ownership, and the high average cost of the Braves hitters could keep their ownership on the lower end of that range. With the team guaranteed 9th-inning plate appearances as the road team, I’ll be more than willing to spend down at pitcher and take the pricier Atlanta hitters.
My favorite bat is Ronald Acuna hitting leadoff. He has yet to hit a home run this season, but he is 9 for his last 23 with 6 SBs over his last 6 games, showing that he can still be a difference-maker when he’s not hitting homers. Matt Olson and Michael Harris will both have the platoon advantage against the right-handed Brown, with Olson carrying a .449 wOBA against RHP since the start of last season and Harris sporting a .362 mark against RHP in the same time frame. Both hitters are available for less than $4,000 on FD, while Olson is $6,000 on DK and Harris costs $4,600.
