Top Overall Stack: Kansas City Royals
Implied Run Total: 4.89 (2nd)
Projected Total Ownership: 51% (FD) / 68% (DK)
The Royals are my top stack, with the 2nd-highest implied run total on the slate facing Kyle Hendricks and the Cubs at home in Kansas City. Hendricks has had a poor season by just about any metric, with a 6.69 ERA and 4.50 xFIP, and has been worse on the road this year, allowing a .503 SLG% in away games. The Royals have power ranking 8th in ISO vs. RHP this year and speed ranking 9th in the majors in SBs.
It’s no surprise, but Bobby Witt is my top bat on the Royals tonight. Witt ranks 4th in SLG% and ISO this season and is a threat on the basepaths as well with 23 SBs. Salvador Perez carries a .203 ISO and .351 wOBA vs. RHP this season, and Vinny Pasquantino has a career .187 ISO vs. RHP.
