MLB DFS Lineup Advice Today
Tuesday night has a large 11-game slate on both FanDuel and DraftKings starting at 7:05 PM ET. This is a packed slate with a game in Coors Field, a warm game with some wind at Wrigley Field, and some good hitting weather (that we’ll have to keep an eye on) in Kansas City. There are some good pitchers to spend up on as well, so we’ll have some decisions to make.
Let’s sort through the slate and figure out what to do with our DFS lineups.
Top MLB DFS Picks for DraftKings & FanDuel
Top Stacks
Overall Stack: Kansas City Royals
Implied Run Total: 4.75 (7th)
Projected Total Ownership: 37% (FD) / 42% (DK)
The Royals are my favorite stack, weather permitting. This game has an “Orange/Yellow” weather tag from Kevin Roth, so we’ll have to keep an eye on the forecast to make sure this game plays. If it looks good for baseball, the weather is good for hitting – WeatherEdge is showing this game with a 20.3% boost to HRs and a 19.3% boost to runs in a decent 89-game sample. Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City is ranked as the 3rd-best park for hitters over the past 3 years according to MLB Park Factors, and Tampa Bay rightie, Zack Littell has allowed a .527 SLG% on the road this season. With a good combination of power (7th in ISO vs. RHP this season) and speed (7th in SBs), the Royals have the upside I’m looking for in a top stack.
My top bat for the Royals is Bobby Witt, who has a .230 ISO and .384 wOBA vs. RHP this season and 22 SBs overall. Salvador Perez has a .210 ISO and .363 wOBA vs. RHP this season, along with 2 HRs in his last 3 games. Vinnie Pasquantino (.207), Michael Massey (.236), and MJ Melendez (.206) all have ISOs greater than .200 vs. RHP this year.
