Happy Sunday, Grinders! We have our normal Sunday main slate with a start time of 1:35 PM Eastern once again today, but this is a big Sunday slate. We have a whopping 12 games to break down on both FD and DK, and I need to get to work straight away.

For the second straight day, the MLB weather seems to be relatively quiet, so it should be all systems go for lineup building on this large slate that offers some elite pitching and a few more high totals than yesterday.

Let’s dig in and see what this Sunday slate has to offer!

Sunday Pitching: MLB DFS Picks on DraftKings and FanDuel

TOP TIER PITCHERS

• Jacob Misiorowski vs. Rockies
• Logan Gilbert at Rangers
• Jacob deGrom vs. Mariners

It’s an elite trio at the top today, with arguably the best pitcher in baseball leading the way. It’s probably a debate between Misiorowski and Skubal for that honor right now. In any case, let’s cement that point with a look at the 2026 data:

Misiorowski – 1.57 ERA, 2.09 xFIP, 39.4% K, 6.4% BB
Gilbert – 3.38 ERA, 3.47 xFIP, 27.3% K, 5.3% BB
deGrom – 3.76 ERA, 3.10 xFIP, 30.2% K, 5.7% BB

Just look at those numbers for the Miz. I would be hard pressed to get to those statistics at anything higher than rookie difficulty on MLB The Show video games. Oh, and I haven’t even mentioned that he is pitching at home against the Rockies as a -350 moneyline favorite today. The only caution is that the Brewers did limit him to 65 pitches in his last start against the Mets as he returned from a brief battle with arm fatigue, so there is a chance that he is still somewhat limited. As crazy as it sounds, I think I still like him as the clear SP1 even if he only gets to 80-85 pitches. He’s that good and has that much upside in this matchup. Keep an eye out for potential updates here on a pitch limitation.

If you are just wanting to be a little different or you aren’t quite convinced on how deep the Brewers will let Misiorowski go, you do have options in the form of a fun head-to-head battle between Logan Gilbert and Jacob deGrom in Texas. Both have similar matchups against opposing low-upside offenses, and I’ll give the edge to deGrom if choosing between the pitchers. He has better advanced metrics and a higher strikeout rate. However, I will absolutely keep both of them in my tournament player pool.

In short, I am ranking this tier as Misiorowski > deGrom > Gilbert, and we need to be alert for potential news regarding a pitch count for the Miz.
