What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

CheeseIsGood: The bigger the slate, the more I prefer smaller contests and single-entry tournaments if I can find a narrowed-down player pool that doesn’t contain all chalk. I have exactly that tonight, with a relatively small but not too small pool of 5–6 pitchers and stacks to focus on. That allows me to stay off overly chalky builds while still playing things I like. I’m going to stick to Jacob deGrom and Nick Pivetta at the high end of pitching while using Reese Olson as the primary salary saver on DK. For offense, I find enough value bats that I’ll be stacking high-end teams like the Mets and Dodgers for late-night hammers.

stevietpfl: I’ll be playing a mix of single-entry and large-field contests tonight. We have a good mix of pitching and hitting options on this slate. With a massive 13-game slate, I’m not concerned with ownership outside of the Mets. Early looks on LineupHQ and SimLabs show pOWN% spread out enough that I’m going to focus on the hitters and pitchers I like.

boggslite: Large-field tournaments – I prefer to have a narrow pitching pool mainly consisting of Jacob deGrom and Nick Pivetta. They aren’t the most reliable options at this point in the season, but I’ll bet on their prior track records, and they both have great matchups if they can get back into form tonight. On the hitting side, my focus will be targeting teams in good weather conditions, with the Mets/A’s being my favorite game for bats.

Dean78904: My main focus is on single-entry and smaller-field type of contests. It is still cold most places with unappealing hitting conditions. The two new minor league venues for the Athletics and Rays will see comparatively favorable weather. The NYM/ATH game will likely be the most popular hitting spot on the slate, but I will be leaning in on it. I’ll be different with lineup construction, as I’ll likely have 5-2-1 / 4-2-2 / 3-3-2 iterations.
