What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

CheeseIsGood: I prefer smaller-field tournaments tonight, as I am narrowing my pool down to a small group of pitchers and offenses. I don’t want to have to try to catch the teams who are completely off the radar that come out of nowhere, and in smaller-field contests, there is likely going to be a clearer ownership edge with some great-looking offenses on this slate. I am not by any means fading the Angels and Rockies, but I do prefer just playing individual power bats and mini stacks there rather than full-stacking that game as chalk. My favorite pivots off of Coors are the Mets, Blue Jays, Orioles, and Diamondbacks.

stevietpfl: I’m going to focus on 1-3 lineups in small-field contests. Even on this big slate, I find myself using only 2-4 pitchers. With the small pitching pool, I’m just going to build a few lineups around the stacks I like. I like both teams in Coors. The Angels and Rockies will be the two main teams I build around. I’m hoping that with a larger slate, the ownership will be spread out a little.

boggslite: Large-field tournaments – Garrett Crochet is the top option at pitcher, especially on DK, where he can be paired with several quality options at lower price points. The Coors Field game will be a tough fade, with a matchup between two poor pitching staffs, but both offenses are inconsistent, making them a full stack-or-fade situation for me.

Dean78904: I mostly focus on single-entry and smaller-field contests. On a slate with a lot of good pitching, I have Garrett Crochet in his own tier, and I’ll likely have him in every lineup I make. I’d love to go double-barrel and pair him with another top arm if salary allows, but that is a fluid situation. I expect to have some Angels in my main lineup, but it likely won’t be a full stack. Power-hunting with cheap Orioles, Royals, Rockies, and Rangers is how I will make elite pitching and some of the expensive Angels bats work salary-wise.

Who is your favorite pitcher (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
