MLB DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Monday, April 13

Who is your favorite hitter to spend up for in cash games?

headChopper: Aaron Judge
ebeimfohr: Corey Seager
boggslite: Aaron Judge

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

headChopper: I am playing small-field GPPs with limited entries. I will end up playing one pitcher that projects highly and is fairly chalky and then find one a little cheaper with not as much pOWN%. On a smaller slate, I am likely to do mini stacks or find one larger stack I like and follow up the rest of the hitters with one-offs I like. That should be enough to get different than everyone else.

ebeimfohr: I prefer smaller-field tournaments. The top-end pitching stands far above the rest, so as much as I would love to find a unique path at pitcher, I will be focused more on the top options there. Which, in turn, means that I will be getting more off the beaten path with my bats and stacks, and I think tonight is an ideal slate to do so. While there are standout pitchers, there are not really any true standout stacks, with a variety of different options. The Red Sox, in particular, stand out as the stack that is most under-owned against Ober, whose name still generates some respect, but his current form is in the dumpster.

boggslite: Large-field tournaments – We will need confirmation on the weather in Minnesota tonight with Garrett Crochet on the mound, but regardless, I will be paying up for pitching. All three of Crochet, Paul Skenes, and Cristopher Sanchez should have useful enough outings to justify their steep price tags, and they all have the upside to post a big game if they are on. I am happy to drop down to Gavin Williams or Will Warren on two-pitcher sites, if necessary, but there are plenty of cheap bats to complement stacks and get at least one stud at SP1.

Who is your favorite pitcher (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
