What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

headChopper: Large-field GPPs are my preferred contests tonight. On DK, I’m going to wait for lineups to come out, find my favorite stack, and lock that in as my main stack—running 3+ batters from it in all 20 of my lineups. On FanDuel, I’ll identify my favorite pitcher and lock him in across builds, with a variety of hitter stacks.

boggslite: Large-field tournaments – There are several quality pitching options I like, but none that stand out as “must-play” based on their salaries. I plan to spread my exposure around to several of the higher-priced options and only go cheap if I absolutely need to. Since most of the bats I’m targeting are also expensive, I won’t be forcing in any double stacks and will instead fill my lineups with cheap punt options in order to afford my pitchers.

ebeimfohr: My preferred tournament format on this slate is smaller-field tournaments for a couple of reasons. There are a few hitting spots that stand out extremely far above the rest, but those are very expensive. The field, especially in smaller-field or single-entry style of tournaments, will gravitate toward those spots, but they are also generally unwilling to get uncomfortable at pitcher. Spending down as much as possible to afford as many of the elite, expensive bats should be a unique path, but the higher-end pitching isn’t as head-and-shoulders above the rest as we see on some days (like yesterday).

ncorfield8k: Large-field tournaments – This season, I’m taking bigger stands on team stacks that I think are going under-owned. Tonight, that’s the Rays, Red Sox, and Royals. None of the pitchers are particularly chalky, but I’ll lean into the top pitcher projections.
