What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

headChopper: I’m building one lineup tonight and entering it mostly in single-entry, smaller-field GPPs. I’ll start putting together stacks once lineups drop and find the best four- or five-man stack available, then build around those players. The remaining hitting spots will be one-offs, targeting home runs. Pitching will be whatever I can squeeze in with what’s left over, although I’m willing to tweak the last couple of hitters to make sure I have enough salary to fit in the two lowest-priced pitchers I’m comfortable rostering tonight.

boggslite: Large-field tournaments – The Braves are the only team that stands out on this slate, and while I plan to have plenty of exposure to them, there are a few other potential blowup spots based on the type of pitchers available on this slate. The Astros and Brewers are facing boom/bust pitchers, and the Reds are hot as well. I will try to narrow my pitching pool down to Spencer Schwellenbach and Nick Lodolo and mix and match several different stacks in the event the Braves don’t break the slate.

ebeimfohr: I am typically a smaller-field player, but this is an intriguing slate for larger-field tournaments. It’s actually a rare slate with a good amount of strong pitching, which leads to very few super-attackable offenses but several arms we can use. Honing in on attacking the weaker pitchers with a tigher core of stacks, while getting exposure to a number of pitchers, should be benefical in large fields.

ncorfield8k: Large-field tournaments – There are somehow no standout stacks or pitchers on this slate. As a result, I’ll play even more contrarian than usual, focusing on some of the lowest-owned stacks and spreading out my pitcher exposure more than usual.

Who is your favorite pitcher (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
