What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

headChopper: I prefer smaller-field contests with limited entries, ideally single-entry up to 3-max. As always, I’ll enter the flagship GPPs just in case, but I build with smaller fields in mind. I’m choosing a chalky SP1—most likely Chris Sale—and then saving some money at SP2 by grabbing a guy with lower projected ownership. With plenty of good offensive spots, I’ll likely limit my stacks to two or three batters to fit multiple mini stacks on my roster.

ebeimfohr: Despite a bigger slate, there are actually not a ton of gas can type of pitchers I want to attack, so I will be focusing in on smaller-field tournaments, with a very focused hitter pool. By X-ing out a large amount of offenses, I can allow our MLB DFS sims tool (SimLabs) to guide me to the most +EV bats that remain from the rest, and I will use the larger pitcher pool to make salary work for those ideal bats.

ncorfield8k: Large-field contests – There aren’t any true stand-out stacks for me. Generally, this means I’ll be fairly spread out, and I’ll lean into the largest stacks. This is because on a slate this size, some team is likely to go off, and I want to capture that to the fullest extent. Since I don’t have strong conviction on which team, I won’t force a hugely overweight stand on any.

Who is your favorite pitcher (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
