What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Krayton: I will be playing single-entry and 20-entry max contests on both sites. I will be looking to pay down at pitcher, as there isn’t a must-have option. I don’t mind Bryan Woo, and if he fits my builds, I will gladly use him. However, I will be overweight on Kyle Hart (especially on FD) against a COL team that doesn’t have much power. Kumar Rocker and Chase Dollander are also a couple of cheaper options I don’t mind getting exposure to.

TJ Zwarych: I’ll be mass multi-entering in large-field GPPs. I plan to narrow down my stacks as much as I possibly can. The Astros, Diamondbacks, Cubs, and Dodgers are my top targets, and I’ll be fading the Rangers, Mariners, Rockies, and Padres.

tcsmith031: I’ll be walking in the 20-max and single-entry streets. There isn’t a lot of trustworthy expensive pitching out there, so I don’t mind saving salary at the position. Bryan Woo is my favorite of the pricier options, but I’ll gladly roll the dice on cheaper options like Kyle Hart and Kumar Rocker in all formats. I even think Hart is a viable play on FanDuel at only $6,300 thanks to his elite matchup at home against the punchless Rockies.

Who is your favorite pitcher (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
