MLB DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Saturday, June 13

Who is your favorite hitter to spend up for in cash games?

stlcardinals84: Corbin Carroll
Krayton: Corbin Carroll
TJ Zwarych: Corbin Carroll

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

stlcardinals84: I will be playing around 20 entries in the large-field tournaments. I expect this to be a high-scoring slate, as we have a nice mix of high-end pitching and upside with bats. I plan to make sure I spend up at pitcher in most lineups, with my favorite DK combination being Yoshinobu Yamamoto and Michael Soroka. I will get different with my stacks, as I plan to be underweight on the Dodgers and Orioles while being overweight on the Mariners and Nationals.

Krayton: I will be playing single-entry and 20-max contests on both sites. I will have a small pitching pool consisting of Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Michael Soroka, and Ranger Suarez, while Joey Cantillo is my favorite cheaper option. There are a decent number of stacks that project well that I want exposure to: LAD, WAS, ARI, and PIT are my favorites.

TJ Zwarych: I’ll be playing 150 entries in large-field tournaments, and while I’ll try to get to as much Yoshinobu Yamamoto and Ranger Suarez as possible, I’ll also mess around with some of the cheaper pitchers like Bubba Chandler and Joey Cantillo so that I can afford some of the more expensive bats.

Who is your favorite pitcher (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
