Who is your favorite hitter to spend up for in cash games?

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
stlcardinals84: I will be playing around 15 entries in the large-field tournaments. This is a tough slate, and I think ownership will be spread out quite a bit, but I am going to make sure I am overweight on Paul Skenes and Shota Imanaga at pitcher. I am once again going to fade the Padres’ hitters at likely high ownership, as they simply haven’t given me a reason to play them with their struggles in 2026. Outside of that, I will spread out my stack exposure a little bit, but the Royals and Rangers are a couple of teams I want to make sure I am overweight on.
Krayton: I will be playing single-entry and 20-max contests on both sites. I will be overweight on Paul Skenes and Shota Imanaga. On FD, where we have the Coors game, I am looking at being overweight on both sides of that one. On DK, I like building around the Royals and then mixing in other teams as secondary stacks. The Phillies are another team that won’t be popular at all facing Nolan McLean, but they are a great secondary stack I want exposure to. I am going to continue being underweight on the Padres (outside of Manny Machado as a one-off option).
TJ Zwarych: My preference is to play 150 lineups in large-field tournaments. For the second straight day, I’ll be underweight on the chalky Padres, and I’ll also play some Noah Cameron against them. Paul Skenes and Shota Imanaga will make up most of my pitcher ownership. I’ll mix in a few cheap options as well.
