What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

CheeseIsGood: The way this slate sets up, I have equal interest in both smaller-field tournaments and large-field MME. In both instances, I am keeping a small pitcher pool, mostly consisting of various versions of the name Chris – Kris Bubic, Chris Bassitt, Cristopher Sanchez, and the differently named Bailey Ober. I have a ton of offense that I love enough to spread wide in MME, but I also have enough of a narrowed-down pool with 5 favorites that will lend itself to smaller-field contests. Those five are the Rangers, Angels, Royals, Twins, and A’s.

headChopper: I’m running one lineup across a mix of large-field and single-entry contests. The major difference I see right now between my build and the field is that I find it very easy to get away from the chalk pitching—early projected ownership has Kris Bubic and Bailey Ober highly owned. Those guys are fine, but I certainly won’t roster both. At most, I’ll have one, with a real chance that neither makes my single-entry-style build.

stevietpfl: I’m going to be focusing on single-entry, 3-entry-max, and 20-entry-max contests. I like multiple offenses and want to spread out my exposure. The A’s, Twins, Rangers, Royals, and Phillies are my top stacks to build around. Pitcher is a different story for me. I want to narrow my pitching pool down to 5 pitchers. Kris Bubic, Chris Bassitt, Cristopher Sanchez, Bailey Ober, and Jose Soriano are my going to be my pitching pool.

Dean78904: I don’t make a lot of lineups, as I mostly focus on single-entry and smaller-field contests. At SP, I’m not messing around, as Kris Bubic will likely be on every DK lineup I make. I don’t think I’ll go beyond Chris Bassitt, Bailey Ober, or Cristopher Sanchez to complete my pool. I have a pretty clear dividing line with hitters as well, as I’ll focus on the A’s, Rangers, Angels, Dodgers, Twins, and Royals. My default way to be different without getting goofy in the smaller contests is by using a different lineup construction – 4-2-1-1 and 3-3-2 type of stacks are two of my favorite iterations.

Who is your favorite pitcher (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
