What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

CheeseIsGood: I like tournaments of all sizes for this slate. In any size, my first goal is spending up at pitcher, which means an underweight approach on the Dodgers. I see plenty of affordable stacks with upside, and I’m also quite willing to just play 1-2 Dodgers on their own. The top 5 pitchers, or 6 with Chase Burns added in, are so far ahead of the pack that I see more separation between them and cheap pitching than I do between the Dodgers and cheaper stacks. My builds will be the same between small-field and large-field tournaments, with teams like the Diamondbacks, Braves, Cardinals, Padres, and Brewers paired with aces.

headChopper: On DraftKings, I’m playing smaller fields with limited entries and just running 1 lineup. On FanDuel, I’m playing in large fields with multiple entries and making 100 lineups. I’ll be over the field on the Dodgers in Coors Field. How I get different is going to have to be at pitcher and then with the other hitters after the Dodgers—more than likely breaking those hitters into non-stacking one-offs.

stevietpfl: I’m going to focus on small-field contests. With the Dodgers in Coors, it’s hard to fade them in this matchup. We have some cheap bats and mid-tier pitching to make the stack work as well. I like the Mariners, Braves, and Padres as pivots off of the Dodgers. This is a fun slate because we have a lot of different ways to build. It would be a lot better if the Dodgers weren’t in Coors against a below-average pitcher.

Dean78904: I mostly focus on single-entry and smaller-field contests. Of course, I want to load up on Dodgers, as they have a completely ridiculous 7.5 team total in Coors, but salary is a thing. I will first prioritize an elite arm (like Garrett Crochet), so I suspect I’ll have to settle for Dodgers mini stacks, if anything. We’re currently projecting Chase Burns in the single digits. It is early, so who knows where that lands, but I would be thrilled to play him in tournaments anywhere near that pOWN%. The Braves are currently my favorite offense, all things considered.
