MLB DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Wednesday, June 3

Who is your favorite hitter to spend up for in cash games?

stevietpfl: Ronald Acuna Jr.
Notorious: Ronald Acuna Jr.
TJ Zwarych: Ronald Acuna Jr.

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

stevietpfl: This slate is incredible for pitching. It’s one of the best pitching slates we’ve had since Opening Day. I’m going to focus on 3 to 5 lineups in small-field contests. On FanDuel, Cristopher Sanchez is a great tournament option. He’s going to be lower owned at this price point. On DraftKings, I think we want 50+ points combined from our pitchers. With this pitching slate, I’m going to target pitchers with higher ceilings, and I’m going to prioritize pitching over bats. The Dodgers, Angels, Reds, Braves, Rangers, Pirates, and Brewers are the offenses at the top of my list.

Notorious: I prefer small-field tournaments. On DraftKings, I think a large portion of the field is going to spend up on 2 pitchers. I’m going to be a little contrarian at pitcher, as I’ll be using Chase Burns and Walbert Urena. On FanDuel, I am going to lock in Cristopher Sanchez and go from there. This naturally leaves me with no exposure to Paul Skenes, who is expected to be one of the highest-owned pitchers on the slate. Being different at pitcher will allow me to eat some chalk with my bats.

TJ Zwarych: I’ll be playing 150 lineups in large-field tournaments. Since I’ll be spending up at pitcher a ton for Paul Skenes and Chase Burns, I’ll need to go cheap with my stacks. The Angels are my favorite team to do that with, but I’ll also load up on the Blue Jays and Reds.

Who is your favorite pitcher (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
