MLB DFS Picks: DraftKings Expert Survey for Thursday, September 26
Who is your favorite hitter to spend up for in cash games?
SquirrelPatrol: Salvador Perez
headChopper: Bobby Witt
Dean78904: Bobby Witt
ebeimfohr: Bobby Witt
Who is your favorite hitter (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
SquirrelPatrol: Salvador Perez – Perez and the Royals help bring the Patrick Corbin era to a close in Washington today. Corbin has allowed a .524 SLG% to righties this season, and Perez has a .228 ISO and .383 wOBA vs. LHP. Perez is substantially cheaper than his teammate, Bobby Witt, and he hits lefties just as well and also fills the required catcher position on DraftKings.
headChopper: Bobby Witt – We get one last crack at Patrick Corbin this season, and we get it with one of the best all-around fantasy performers. Corbin has a minuscule 17.4% K rate vs. righties this season, and Witt has only struck out around 13% vs. lefties. So he should be putting the ball in play here. All we hope for next is hard contact — which Corbin allows over half the time to righties. You won’t get any shenanigans with the Royals, as they are fighting for the playoffs, so that’s an added bonus.

Dean78904: Bobby Witt – I don’t want to alarm you, but this is very likely the last time ever to attack Patrick Corbin in a Washington uniform. So why not come at him with the biggest bat? Witt has absolutely hammered LHP this season (.202 ISO / .382 wOBA), while 22 of Corbin’s 24 HRs allowed this season have come off versus a righty. The Royals are looking to lock up a Wild Card spot, so you can trust we won’t get any late-season goofiness. On the back of Witt and the offense, I expect them to get one step closer to a playoff berth.
ebeimfohr: Bobby Witt – I know he’s going to be popular, but it’s hard to get away from Witt in this matchup on this slate. He’s one of the best young hitters in baseball, and he adds stolen-base upside in a huge game for the Royals against a bad, power-prone lefty who also allows stolen bases at a high rate. Witt has a .397 xwOBA and .244 xISO vs. LHP this season.
