Million Dollar Musings: MLB DFS Picks Today for Tuesday 6/2

Whether you are looking for the top pitchers or the best stacks, Dave Potts (aka CheeseIsGood) has you covered with an extensive deep dive into his MLB DFS picks today. Cheese, one of the preeminent baseball minds in all of fantasy sports and a winner of a $1,000,000 1st-place prize on both DraftKings and FanDuel, is here to muse about the June 2, 2026 MLB DFS slate.
Happy Tuesday! We have a good old-fashioned barn burner on our hands tonight. I’ll start by saying that if you don’t have an old person in your life who uses the term barn burner in casual conversation as if it’s a widely used and universally understood term, you’re really missing out.
At first glance, I’m seeing a great top tier of 5 pitchers who are clearly playable, then a chalky cheap pitcher on DK, and another 4-5 very viable cheap options. On the hitting side, I’m seeing at least 10 teams – and probably more like 20 – who are essentially tied, with no clear best option. We’ll see what happens as we dig through it, but this looks like a really tough slate with no wrong answers.
Tuesday Pitching: MLB DFS Picks on DraftKings and FanDuel

This is a very good-looking pitching slate. While the top pitchers don’t quite have the name value of some other aces, these are all great pitchers. And then we’re going to find a very chalky cheap pitcher who used to be good, should be good again, and has a great matchup up at a great salary.
TOP TIER PITCHING
- Cam Schlittler vs. Guardians – 29.5% K, 4.7% BB, 1.50 ERA, 2.76 SIERA
- Kyle Harrison vs. Giants – 29.6% K, 6.8% BB, 1.57 ERA, 3.03 SIERA
- Davis Martin at Twins – 27% K, 5.3% BB, 2.00 ERA, 3.03 SIERA
- Nathan Eovaldi at Cardinals – 23.7% K, 5.7% BB, 3.93 ERA, 3.37 SIERA
- Logan Gilbert vs. Mets – 25% K, 5.8% BB, 3.69 ERA, 3.46 SIERA
Among starters with 50+ innings pitched this season, Cam Schlittler, Kyle Harrison, and Davis Martin are in the top 10 in the league in K-BB% and SIERA. Yes, Top 10 Davis Martin. Projections hate to see it, but the numbers are what they are. As we’ve been saying here for well over a month now, he is real, and he’s spectacular.

DK finally got the memo and has brought his salary up to $9,700, where he is more appropriately priced. The good news today is that if you aren’t a Davis Martin believer, you can still just play Kyle Harrison and Cam Schlittler ahead of him. My personal view of these top three is that Schlittler is the best pitcher here, and if all three had the same matchup, salary, and projected ownership, Schlittler would be my SP1. Then, I’d go Harrison 2nd and Martin 3rd. But they are all great.
As I look into these matchups, there doesn’t appear to be a massive difference in any of them. I have to say that Kyle Harrison against the Giants tops the board, with their ‘who are these people’ bottom half of the lineup. But then I also have to say that Harrison is so all over the place with his strikeouts that I have no idea who he is. He has been great even when the strikeouts drop off, but it’s been more up and down than what you’d typically see from a pitcher at this salary level. He has 2 starts with double-digit strikeouts this season, but then also 6 of his 10 starts have landed between 2-6 strikeouts.
Cam Schlittler has been a little more consistent with his strikeouts, but they are not spiking up to a point where you can’t possibly win without him. Cleveland usually has 4 high-strikeout bats in the lineup, and they are a lower power team against RHP, ranking 25th in OPS, with only 3 bats in the projected lineup over a .135 ISO against RHP this season.
All this is to say that I expect both Harrison and Schlittler to be very good tonight, as always. They both have a ceiling, though I can’t say the most-likely outcome for either of them is ever more than something in the range 6-7 strikeouts. If salary doesn’t matter at all, I would just play Schlittler and Harrison and move on, but they are both over $10,000 on both sites, and salary does matter. So, let’s see what else we find.
