Pitching Texture
Friday’s 12-game slate is a fun one to dissect as we should see ownership relatively spread out. Carlos Carrasco does stand out as the “safest” option as the Cleveland righty has proven that he has a nice strikeout floor, posting a strikeout rate north of 28% in back-to-back seasons. Carrasco gets a merely average strikeout matchup against the Royals but it’s a strong run prevention spot on the road at pitcher-friendly Kauffman.
