Gerrit Cole at Arizona Diamondbacks
We had a few slates this week that were loaded with the stud pitchers, so it should come as no surprise that we don’t see as many big names tonight. The fact that we have 15 games should make things pretty challenging, but at least we have Mr. Cole to start things off.
Cole goes into Arizona to face a Diamondbacks team that is pretty average against righties while still offering some strikeout upside. They are middle of the pack so far this season in wRC+ and .wOBA against RHP, and they have the ninth highest K% in the split at 24.1%.
