Arms To Trust
J.A. Happ vs Seattle Mariners
Trust is a relative term today, with nine games on the main slate but no real aces or even excellent pitchers in good matchups. Happ gets the nod for me today, though, at least as an arm I’ll be aiming to be overweight in tournaments on, and likely as a cash game pitcher as well. He has seemed like a different pitcher so far this year with a 11.45 K/9 that far exceeds his career average 7.85 K/9 and a 2.95 SIERA and 1.08 WHIP that are both significantly better than his career averages as well.
