Major League Baseball has 14 games on tap to begin the weekend, including an afternoon affair between the Blue Jays and Cubs at 2:20 p.m. ET. The rest of today’s action has a scheduled first pitch of 6:40 p.m. ET or later.

As always, it’s important to keep an eye on the MLB weather report before committing to any wagers. The forecast is on the hitter-friendly side in a few places today, including The Bronx, where there are strong winds and 80-degree temperatures. There could be plenty of offensive fireworks tonight across the league.

Below, you can find three of my favorite picks for Friday, June 19th!

Best MLB Player Props for Friday, June 19th

Here are my top player prop bets for today, with the first pitch scheduled for 2:20 PM ET on Friday, June 19th:

Rhett Lowder OVER 14.5 Outs Recorded (-140, DraftKings)

Lowder was stretched out to 25 batters faced and 96 pitches against the Diamondbacks in his most recent outing, showing that he’s fully built up following his trip to the injured list in May.

The Yankees represent a formidable matchup for Lowder, especially given his struggles across the platoon. That said, Plan A will certainly be for Lowder to get through at least 5 innings. He should have plenty of leash – the question will be if he can be effective enough to get 15 outs to open this series against the Yankees.

This is a playable price to find out the answer to that question.

Tatsuya Imai UNDER 4.5 Strikeouts (+141, Novig)

Imai has a 28.4% strikeout rate against righties this season but only a 20% strikeout rate across the platoon. Cleveland is likely to have 7+ lefties in the lineup against him. It’s also worth noting that there is some speculation that Mike Burrows could piggyback Imai in this spot, which could further limit Imai’s workload. At plus money, this is worthy of a speculative play.

Bryce Miller UNDER 15.5 Outs Recorded (-150, bet365)

Add this pick with 1 click!PLACE THIS BET ONBET365

In the 3 appearances Miller has made this season in a piggyback situation, he has faced 19 batters, 18 batters, and 17 batters. Obviously, that leaves him with an extremely thin margin for error if hoping to work into the 6th inning tonight. Luis Castillo is more than capable of covering 4 innings by himself, which looks like the tentative plan. There is good value on the under – Miller would likely need to be nearly perfect to get into the 6th inning.
