Monday’s MLB action began earlier this morning at Fenway Park, but there are still 9 games left to get underway as of this writing, which means plenty of betting opportunities still available for consideration.

There is some colder MLB weather in Cleveland, Chicago, and Washington tonight, but hitters should be more than comfortable in Kansas City and Colorado. As always, keep an eye on temperature and wind before making any wagers!

Below, you can find three of my favorite picks for Monday, April 20th!

Best MLB Player Props for Monday, April 20th

Here are my top player prop bets for today, with the first pitch scheduled for 6:10 PM ET on Monday, April 20th:

Colin Rea OVER 15.5 Outs Recorded (-129, DraftKings)

Rea was stretched out to 87 pitches in his most recent outing. Tonight, he will face that same Philadelphia lineup for the second consecutive turn through the rotation.

The Phillies played on Sunday Night Baseball yesterday, putting them in a tough travel spot this evening, moving from city to city after a night game without a day off. Rea hasn’t been terribly efficient, averaging 3.98 pitches per batter faced during his last 3 outings, but Philadelphia hasn’t been seeing a lot of pitches at the plate. Combine that with the travel impact, colder weather, and a Chicago bullpen that is relatively taxed, and Rea should have a chance to come out for the 6th inning.

Gunnar Henderson OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-145, BetMGM)

Lefties against Seth Lugo has been a profitable way to invest in hitter props in recent seasons. In 2025, Lugo struggled to a 6.20 FIP and 1.46 WHIP across the platoon. Early in 2026, he’s allowing a .250 opponent batting average and 1.33 WHIP. He’s walked 9.7% of LHBs he’s faced so far.

Henderson has gone hitless in 3 of his last 4 games, but he has a 9.1% barrel rate and 72.7% hard-hit rate in that span, indicating that he’s been seeing the ball fine from a process standpoint. Henderson should be able to make some noise out of the leadoff spot on Monday.

Justin Wrobleski OVER 15.5 Outs Recorded (+105, Novig)

Wrobleski isn’t a spot starter, nor is he a five-and-dive guy for the Dodgers. Manager Dave Roberts has been vocal early this season about not going to his bullpen unnecessarily. Over the weekend, he used Alex Vesia, Will Klein, and Jack Dreyer each twice in three days. Edwin Diaz and Kyle Hurt each threw yesterday too. Given the heavy usage for the team’s southpaws, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Wrobleski get an opportunity to work into the 6th inning this evening assuming he’s somewhat effective.
