Monday’s 13-game MLB holiday slate began with a number of afternoon contests, but there are still 6 games left to get underway as of this writing, leaving plenty of betting opportunities still on the board!

As always, make sure to keep an eye on the MLB weather report before committing to any wagers. The weather in Sacramento tonight is on the hitter-friendly side, with notable winds blowing out to center field. However, it’s on the cooler side in Cleveland, with the forecast temperature under 70 degrees at first pitch for Memorial Day.

Below, you can find three of my favorite picks for Monday, May 25th!

Best MLB Player Props for Monday, May 25th

Here are my top player prop bets for today, with the first pitch scheduled for 6:10 PM ET on Monday, May 25th:

Carlos Cortes OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (+100, Hard Rock)

Cortes has been seeing the ball well of late, with a 128 wRC+ during the month of May. He has more walks than strikeouts during that span. Cortes isn’t someone who is likely to hit many balls over the fence, but he sets the table and sees right-handed pitching well. This is good value in a favorable matchup.

Nick Kurtz OVER 1.5 Total Bases (-105, BetMGM)

Kurtz has only 1 extra-base hit in his last 23 plate appearances, but he’s walked more than he’s struck out in that span, with a 10% barrel rate and 50% hard-hit rate. Thus, it’s fair to expect some positive regression in the extra-base department sooner rather than later, and it could happen as soon as this evening.

Luis Castillo has struggled to a 5.40 FIP and 1.48 WHIP across the platoon in 2026, allowing 13 extra-base hits in only 113 batters faced. Kurtz is a threat to leave the yard on Monday.

Tyler Soderstrom OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-145, BetMGM)

Add this pick with 1 click!PLACE THIS BET ONBETMGM

Soderstrom has struggled overall this season, but he has still been a league-average hitter against RHP. Tonight, he draws a favorable matchup against Luis Castillo, who has struggled across the platoon this season. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Soderstrom find some success at the plate in this spot.
