Best MLB Player Props for Thursday, April 23rd
Here are my top player prop bets for today, with the first pitch scheduled for 6:10 PM ET on Thursday, April 23rd:
- Aaron Judge Over/Under 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs
- Corey Seager Over/Under 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs
- Payton Tolle Over/Under 4.5 Strikeouts
Aaron Judge OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-142, DraftKings)
DRAFTKINGSJudge is the best hitter we have seen since Barry Bonds. Judge has been in good form of late with a 186 wRC+ in April. Payton Tolle struggled to a 5.99 FIP and 1.50 FIP across the platoon in his brief MLB exposure near the end of 2025. It wouldn’t be surprising to see him struggle once again tonight. Judge should have some good pitches to hit, with Ben Rice protecting him in the lineup.
Corey Seager OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-125, BetMGM)
BETMGMBubba Chandler has struggled across the platoon early in 2026 with a 5.10 FIP and as many walks as he’s totaled strikeouts. Seager is one of the league’s best left-handed hitters despite entering play with a .193 batting average. Seager has still been making plenty of hard contact of late, which should lead to some positive regression sooner rather than later. This is good value on Thursday night.
Payton Tolle UNDER 4.5 Strikeouts (+110, BetMGM)
BETMGMTolle has excelled in the minor leagues, but his primary carrying pitch is his fastball, which might not be enough to earn many swings and misses against a patient New York lineup. There are also reports that Tolle had been throwing more sinkers in the minor leagues earlier in 2026, which would further reduce his strikeout ceiling on Thursday night. There is some value on the under at plus money.
