Major League Baseball has 9 games on tap for Wednesday evening, including a potential playoff preview between the Dodgers and Braves at 7:15 p.m. ET.
Hitters in Sacramento tonight are likely to enjoy a nice boost to any balls they hit in the air, with the forecast calling for temperatures near 100 degrees at first pitch. As always, it’s important to keep an eye on the MLB weather report before committing to any wagers.
Below, you can find three of my favorite picks for Wednesday, August 26th!
Best MLB Player Props for Wednesday, August 26th
Here are my top player prop bets for today, with the first pitch scheduled for 6:40 PM ET on Wednesday, August 26th:
- Roki Sasaki Over/Under 4.5 Strikeouts
- Francisco Lindor Over/Under 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs
- Carson Benge Over/Under 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs
Roki Sasaki OVER 4.5 Strikeouts (-167, Novig)
Sasaki has looked great since the All-Star Break, with a 2.31 ERA, 3.26 xERA, 3.00 FIP, and 1.17 WHIP across his last 6 starts. He owns a 24.1% strikeout rate in that span. Increased velocity and more first-pitch strikes have allowed him to consistently put away hitters late in counts.
Atlanta’s offense has chased pitches out of the zone at the 2nd-highest rate in baseball across the last 2 weeks. Sasaki, who excels at getting hitters to swing at bad pitches, should have every chance to get 5 strikeouts in this spot.
Francisco Lindor OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (+110, DraftKings)
Lindor has excelled to a 137 wRC+ since the All-Star Break, with 8 home runs and 20 runs scored in that span. Tonight, he’s in the 2-hole against Dustin May, who has struggled to a 1.52 WHIP across the platoon in 2026. Lindor should have chances to make an impact at the plate this evening.
Carson Benge OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (+123, DraftKings)
Benge has been one of the hottest hitters in baseball in recent weeks. Since July 29, he owns a 183 wRC+, hitting .376 with 5 home runs and 14 runs scored. Tonight, he will get to face Dustin May, who allowed 7 earned runs in his most recent turn through the Milwaukee rotation. May has consistently struggled against LHB this year, which should favor Benge in this matchup.
