MLB Player Props Today
- Trea Turner to Record a Stolen Base
- Bryson Stott to Record a Stolen Base
- Bryce Harper More Than 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs
Trea Turner to Record a Stolen Base (+425), Bet365
During the regular season, Trea Turner stole 30 bases without being caught. During the postseason, Turner has four stolen bases in 12 games played, which translates to a stolen base in 33.3% of his games played in October. The implied odds at Bet365 translate to a 19.1% chance that Turner swipes a bag on Tuesday night. Brandon Pfaadt is not particularly quick to the plate, and any relief pitcher that comes into the game for Arizona is more concerned with the batter at the plate than anyone on the bases. This line is simply mispriced, making it worth a small stab.
Bryson Stott to Record a Stolen Base (+450), Bet365
Bryson Stott stole 31 bases during the regular season and was caught only three times. During these playoffs, Stott has stolen five bases without being caught. Four of those stolen bases have come in the last five games against Arizona. If he gets on base with nobody in front of him, he will obviously have the green light to steal. The Phillies have 16 stolen bases in 12 games this postseason, which is four more than any other team. Philadelphia also led all teams in stolen bases during last year’s playoffs. Assuming Manager Rob Thompson continues to be aggressive on the basepaths, most of the Phillies lineup is worth a sprinkle to swipe a bag this evening.
MLB DFS Pick’em
Bryce Harper More Than 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs, PrizePicks
Bryce Harper disappointed yesterday, going 0-for-3 at the plate with a pair of strikeouts. Still, he owns a .316 batting average and a 1.201 OPS this postseason and has a 1.018 OPS for his career in the playoffs. In 12 playoff games this fall, Harper has 14 runs scored, 12 hits, and eight runs-batted-in (RBI). Harper is a big-game player who rarely falls short when the lights shine brightest. This is a worthwhile risk on Tuesday.
