What kind of performances can we expect on Tuesday from Ryan Feltner, Ronel Blanco, and Patrick Corbin? Follow along as our MLB betting analyst, Nick Galaida, breaks down three of his favorite MLB prop bets for Tuesday, April 22nd. All 30 MLB teams are scheduled to be in action on Tuesday evening, and all 15 games are scheduled for a 6:10 p.m. ET first pitch or later, giving the betting community plenty of time to find a few plays to their liking before this evening’s entertainment begins.
As always, be sure to monitor our MLB starting lineups page throughout the day, as unexpected changes in the batting order can result in value opportunities in the betting and DFS markets.
Another reminder – it’s not a bad beat, or unlucky, if you bet a player to hit a home run and his fly ball dies on the warning track because it’s 40 degrees with the wind blowing in! Before locking in any bets, use our MLB weather page, curated by Chief Meteorologist, Kevin Roth. There are countless edges to be found if we make the right reads on possible rain delays and great hitting weather, just to name a few. Taking a look at the weather report can save us from a bad bet that otherwise looks good on the surface.
Below, you can find my 3 picks for Tuesday, April 22nd!

Best MLB Player Props for Tuesday, April 22nd
Here are my top player prop bets for today, with the first pitch scheduled for 6:10 PM ET on Tuesday, April 22nd:
- Ryan Feltner Over/Under 15.5 Outs Recorded
- Ronel Blanco Over/Under 2.5 Earned Runs Allowed
- Patrick Corbin Over/Under 2.5 Earned Runs Allowed
Ryan Feltner OVER 15.5 Outs Recorded (+105, bet365)
Feltner isn’t the most efficient pitcher in the big leagues, but he’s well-positioned to get into the 6th inning tonight. The Royals enter play ranked dead last in wRC+ against RHP across the last 14 days of action – worse than even the Pirates, Rockies, and White Sox.
The Royals aren’t a particularly patient team either, ranking near the league average in swing%. They also have taken a lot of called strikes. Factor in that the Rockies are coming off of a Sunday doubleheader, with no off day again until May 5th, and Feltner should have every opportunity to get deep-ish into this game.
Ronel Blanco UNDER 2.5 Earned Runs Allowed (-145, DraftKings)
Blanco isn’t enjoying a strong start to the new campaign, but he has an opportunity to right the ship this evening in a favorable matchup against the Blue Jays. Ahead of first pitch on Tuesday, Toronto’s offense ranks 25th in wRC+ against RHP across the last 14 days. Blanco should also get a favorable platoon split in this game, with the Blue Jays potentially inserting 6 RHB into their starting lineup.
As bad as Blanco has been this year, nearly all of his struggles have come across the platoon. He owns a 3.24 FIP and a 29.5% strikeout rate against RHB compared to a 6.04 FIP and 12.5% strikeout rate against LHB. If the Blue Jays have 6 RHB in their lineup again this evening, Blanco should have a good chance to limit the damage done against him.
Patrick Corbin OVER 2.5 Earned Runs Allowed (-165, DraftKings)
Corbin held the Angels to only 1 run across 5.1 innings in his most recent outing, but he has a much more difficult matchup on tap, facing an Athletics offense that ranks 4th in wRC+ against southpaws so far in 2025. Corbin will also have to pitch in a small, wind-sensitive ballpark on a night in which the wind is forecast to be blowing out to center field at first pitch. The Athletics should be able to get to Corbin for at least a few runs.
