Happy Tuesday! All 30 MLB teams are in action tonight as part of the league’s 15-game slate, which means plenty of betting opportunities for the community to consider ahead of first pitch.

As always, be sure to monitor our MLB starting lineups page throughout the day, as unexpected changes in the batting order can result in value opportunities in the betting and DFS markets.

Another reminder – it’s not a bad beat, or unlucky, if you bet a player to hit a home run and his fly ball dies on the warning track because it’s 40 degrees with the wind blowing in! Before locking in any bets, use our MLB weather page, curated by Chief Meteorologist, Kevin Roth. There are countless edges to be found if we make the right reads on possible rain delays and great hitting weather, just to name a few. Taking a look at the weather report can save us from a bad bet that otherwise looks good on the surface.

Below, you can find my 3 picks for Tuesday, June 10th!

Best MLB Player Props for Tuesday, June 10th

Here are my top player prop bets for today, with the first pitch scheduled for 6:35 PM ET on Tuesday, June 10th:

Andrew Abbott OVER 4.5 Strikeouts (-145, BetMGM)

Abbott has exhibited great swing-and-miss stuff during the last 30 days. In that span, he owns a 24.1% strikeout rate and 11.5% swinging-strike rate. He gets a favorable matchup against a Cleveland offense that ranks 23rd in strikeout rate against LHP during the last 14 days. Abbott has recorded 5+ strikeouts in 5 of his last 6 starts and should have every opportunity to hit that mark again this evening.

Griffin Canning UNDER 17.5 Outs Recorded (-130, Caesars)

Canning recorded 18 outs against the Dodgers in his most recent start, but he still faced only 22 batters – marking the 6th time in his last 7 starts that he’s faced 22 batters or fewer. From a betting perspective, this means that he has a very thin margin for error to record 18 outs. Ahead of first pitch tonight, the Mets also have an incredibly rested arm barn. None of Edwin Diaz, Reed Garrett, Ryne Stanek, or Huascar Brazoban have pitched since last Friday. Canning is highly unlikely to see the middle of the Washington lineup a third time through the order, especially given his struggles against lefties. The under has value here.

Miles Mikolas UNDER 17.5 Outs Recorded (-110, DraftKings)

Mikolas recorded 18 outs last Thursday against the Royals, but he was pushed longer than usual given that the Cardinals were playing the front half of a doubleheader. His workload was also extended due to the Cardinals facing a trailing game script, with another game scheduled for later that day. Prior to that start, Mikolas hadn’t thrown more than 84 pitches in a span of 6 starts. This evening, he’s likely to see a tighter leash, especially with a rested bullpen behind him.
