Happy Wednesday! Most of today’s baseball action took place earlier this afternoon, but there are still 6 games left to get underway as of this writing. Of course, that means plenty of betting opportunities left on the board as well!
As always, be sure to monitor our MLB starting lineups page throughout the day, as unexpected changes in the batting order can result in value opportunities in the betting and DFS markets.
Another reminder – it’s not a bad beat, or unlucky, if you bet a player to hit a home run and his fly ball dies on the warning track because it’s 40 degrees with the wind blowing in! Before locking in any bets, use our MLB weather page, curated by Chief Meteorologist, Kevin Roth. There are countless edges to be found if we make the right reads on possible rain delays and great hitting weather, just to name a few. Taking a look at the weather report can save us from a bad bet that otherwise looks good on the surface.
Below, you can find my 3 picks for Wednesday, July 30th!

Best MLB Player Props for Wednesday, July 30
Here are my top player prop bets for today, with the first pitch scheduled for 6:40 PM ET on Wednesday, July 30th:
- Angel Martinez Over/Under 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs
- Jazz Chisholm Over/Under 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs
- Cody Bellinger Over/Under 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs
Angel Martinez OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-150, Caesars)

Martinez has demolished southpaws this season, hitting .320 with a 146 wRC+. Tonight, he gets to face one of the most hittable left-handed pitchers in baseball, with Kyle Freeland toeing the rubber for the Rockies. Freeland enters play with a 4.64 FIP and 1.59 WHIP against right-handed batters this year. Martinez could have a very productive night at the dish.
Jazz Chisholm OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-110, DraftKings)

This season, Zack Littell has struggled tremendously against left-handed hitters, posting a 5.05 FIP and an anemic 16% strikeout rate entering play on Wednesday. Tonight, he will have to contend with Chisholm, who owns a 148 wRC+ and .900 OPS against right-handed pitching in 2025. Chisholm has gone 0-for-4 in each of his last 3 games, but he’s positioned for a bounce-back performance.
Cody Bellinger OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-135, Caesars)

Bellinger has been on a tear since the All-Star Break, hitting .275 with a 171 wRC+ in 43 plate appearances. Notably, he’s struck out in only 4.7% of his trips to the plate in that span, which is a good indicator that he’s seeing the ball well. Bellinger has been better against southpaws in 2025, but he still owns a respectable 116 wRC+ against right-handed pitching and gets to face Zack Littell this evening, who struggles against lefties. This is good value on what looks like a warm night in The Bronx.
