This evening, the Dodgers will have a tough test against Bryce Elder, who enters play with a 2.06 ERA and a 3.34 FIP through his first nine turns in the rotation this year. His opponent, Tony Gonsolin, has made only five starts since returning from injury, during which he has vastly outperformed his peripherals.

The Los Angeles Dodgers have been swinging the bats well against right-handed pitching during the month of May.
