The octagon returns to the United Kingdom in the brand new Co-Op Arena in Manchester, England with two hometown champions defending their belts. The main event is an undisputed UFC welterweight championship bout between defending champion Leon “Rocky” Edwards and Belal “Remember the Name” Muhammad. The co-main event will be an interim heavyweight title fight pitting Tom Aspinall against the divisional stalwart Curtis “Razor” Blaydes.

Arnold Allen is getting a home field advantage as he attempts to bounce back and reassert himself as a top featherweight in the division. Allen was on a sensational win streak before back-to-back setbacks against former champion Max “Blessed” Holloway and undefeated contender Movsar Evloev.
Allen is the more well-rounded fighter with a brown belt in Brazilian jiu jitsu and multiple UFC stoppages via knock out and submission. We have seen Allen mix in his takedowns in some of his fights, but he typically prefers to strike and uses his wrestling and grappling defensively. Against a seasoned Glory kickboxer like Chikadze, he would be wise to close distance and mitigate risk.
Chikadze has knockout power, slick kicks, and a ton of heart and toughness as he displayed against Calvin Kattar in a one-sided five-round defeat. His problem is he is an older fighter in the division who relies on a limited modality (pure striking) to win fights in mixed martial arts.
Unless Giga Chikadze is able to chin Arnold Allen, fall him with the Giga kick, or outpoint him to a close decision, I expect he gets clipped and hurt or taken down and overwhelmed to a submission defeat at the hand’s of North England’s own Arnold “Almighty” Allen.
Prediction: Arnold Allen defeats Giga Chikadze via SUB2/3 (Ninja Choke)
