This weekend, we head to Atlanta Motor Speedway for the Ambetter Health 400. The race is Sunday at 3pm ET on FOX. You can’t use any of the data prior to 2022, and we only have a 6-race sample size. Being a 1.5-mile drafting track, it’s such a unique racetrack. It makes it tough to comp it to any other track. With that said, we’ve seen a trend with the new car on drafting tracks: Track position is way more important than it was with the old car. We want aggressive drivers who want to run toward the front. I’ll be looking at recent Atlanta data, recent superspeedway data, 2024 speed, and a few others when building lineups this weekend. Unlike Daytona and Talladega, dominators have come into play at the new Atlanta in 5 of the 6 races. The track is getting more tire wear, which could lead to more fuel saving and single-file car runs.

The stages are 60, 100, 100, which is a total of 260 laps. With 260 laps, we’re looking at 26 laps led, and 26 laps completed points on FanDuel. On DraftKings, we’re looking at 117 fastest lap points and 65 laps led points. I will be limiting my top 10 to a max of 2, and using group orders to get builds with 0, 1-1, and 2-2. Five of the six optimal lineups with the new Atlanta have had 2 drivers who have started inside the top 10.
