This weekend, we head to Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the Brickyard 400. The race is Sunday at 2:00pm ET on TNT. Last season was the first time since 2020 the Cup Series raced on the Indy Oval. There were 10 cautions for 34 laps in 2024. There have been at least 8 cautions in 7 straight oval races here. Practice on Friday was rained out, and teams had a combined 25-minute practice with two sets of tires on Saturday before qualifying. Some teams elected to use both sets to run long, and others used the second set for a mock qualifying run. I’ll be using recent speed data, Pocono speed data, 2025 speed, practice, and a few other things when building lineups this weekend.

NASCAR DFS Picks: Brickyard 400

The stages are 50, 50, and 60, which is a total of 160 laps. With 160 laps, we’re looking at 72 potential fastest lap points and 40 laps led points on DraftKings. On FanDuel, we’re looking at 16 laps led, and 16 laps completed points. With the pace of the cars and the slower pit road speed, you’ll need to be within 5 seconds of the leader to short-pit the stages.
