This weekend, we head to North Wilkesboro Speedway for the NASCAR All-Star Race. The race is Sunday at 8pm ET on FS1. The NASCAR All-Star Open is at 5:30pm ET on FS1. The winner and second place cars in the Open will get into the All-Star Race. There is also a fan vote. With those 3 drivers, we will have a 23-car field. FanDuel only has the 20 driver-pool, while DraftKings has all drivers listed. There is a caution scheduled for lap 100. There is also a potential promoter’s caution that can happen before lap 220. It can only happen if there is not a caution after lap 200. We saw multiple grooves in the heat races, but we still saw it was tough to pass the leader. Clean air and the ability to block is going to make it tough to pass the leader. Tires mattered in the heat race and should matter even more after the rubber is put down in the Open race.
NASCAR DFS Picks: NASCAR All-Star Race
With 250 laps, we’re looking at 112.5 potential fastest lap points and 62.5 laps led points on DraftKings. On FanDuel, we’re looking at 25 laps led and 25 laps completed points. Last season, there were 4 cautions for 27 laps. NASCAR added 50 laps this season and has a potential for a little late-race chaos with the manufactured late-race caution.
