This weekend, we head to Sonoma Raceway for the Toyota/Save Mart 350. The race is Sunday at 3:30pm ET on TNT. We have been on the road a lot lately, and this will be our fourth road course race of the season. This is a tough road course, but with the repave, it was a little different last season. Last season, there were 8 cautions for 22 laps. There were 2 cautions for 6 laps in 2023. In 2022, there were 4 cautions for 14 laps. There have only been more than 6 cautions 2 in the last 10 races here. The race winner has started 12th or better in each of the last 10 races here. In 35 races at Sonoma, the race winner has started 15th or better 33 times. I’ll be using recent road course data, track history, practice, 2025 speed, and a few other small things when building lineups this weekend.
