This weekend we head to Watkins Glen for the Mission 176 at the Glen. The race is Friday at 5 p.m. ET on FS1. The Truck Series returns to Watkins Glen for the first time since 2021. This will be the 7th time the Truck Series has raced at the Glen. The race winner has started 1st or 2nd in 5 of those 6 races. This is the first time the Truck Series has used this tire code. Practice will play a large role in how I want to approach this race. We have a loaded truck field this weekend. Kyle Busch, Christopher Bell, Ross Chastain, Chris Buescher, Connor Zilisch, Sammy Smith, and William Sawalich are all running this race. I’ll be using recent road course data, recent speed, practice data, and a few other things when building lineups this weekend.

NASCAR Truck Series DFS Picks – Mission 176 at the Glen

The stages are 20, 20, and 32, which is a total of 72 laps. With 72 laps, we’re looking at a max of 32.4 fastest lap points and 18 laps led points. In the past, this has been a low-caution race, but there’s only been one race here in the last 20 years. I think we see 40-45 dominator points.
