This weekend, we head to Texas Motor Speedway for the SpeedyCash.com 250. We have another Friday Night Truck race! The race is Friday night at 8:00 PM ET on FS1. Practice and Qualifying is Friday at 2:35 PM ET. This is the second 1.5-mile race of the season for the Trucks. This is the same tire code they’ve run at Texas, Las Vegas, and Kansas since 2022. The closest comp to Texas is Charlotte, but Texas is more of a 1-groove racetrack, so it doesn’t have a perfect comp. I’ll be using those two tracks plus Las Vegas and Kansas. When building lineups this weekend, I’ll look at practice, recent 2025 speed, recent Texas data, high-speed intermediate tracks, and a few other things. The race winner has started 6th or better in 11 straight Truck races at Texas.

NASCAR Truck Series DFS Picks – SpeedyCash.com 250

The stages are 40, 40, and 87, which is a total of 167 laps. With 167 laps, we’re looking at a potential of 75.15 fastest-lap points and 41.75 laps-led points. There have been at least 7 cautions in 8 of the last 10 races here. Even after the cautions, we’re looking at close to 100 dominator points. We have seen some wild optimal lineups over the last 5 races here. I want 1-2 dominators, and place differential tends to be just as important as dominators here.
