This weekend, we head to Pocono Raceway for the Explore the Pocono Mountains 250. The race is Saturday at 3:30pm ET on The CW. Like the Truck race, we have 25 extra miles, which is 10 extra laps. I should have Xfinity projections, pOWN%, and core/GPP/value plays posted by 2pm ET. Pocono is a unique 2.5-mile triangle that has 3 different turns. On top of that, Pocono has flatter corners. With it being a 2.5-mile track, teams can short pit the end of stages to gain track position. With potential strategy, crazy restarts, and drafting, Pocono can be wild. The Xfinity Series first started racing at Pocono in 2016. In the 9 races here, the race winner has started inside the top 10 in 7 of those races. There have been at least 5 cautions in 8 of those 9 races. I’ll be using recent 2025 speed, 2025 speed on high-speed tracks, practice, recent Pocono data, and a few other things when building lineups this weekend.

The stages are 25, 25, and 50, which is a total of 100 laps. With 100 laps, we’re looking at 45 potential fastest lap points and 25 laps led points. There has been at least 1 driver from the top 10 in the optimal in the last 7 races here, and 3 times, there have been 3, so like the Truck builds, I will make a top-10 group with 1 to 3 drivers.
